After four rounds of play, the K-12 Open team has 8.5 points. Until I'm able to see the posted standings, I'm not sure exactly what place that is. However, if I had to predict, it would be 3rd Place currently, perhaps two points out of 1st. Ser has 2.5/4.0, and Chandar, Mehta, Werner, & Ian Gonzalez all have 2.0.
The K-12 U/1000 team has 6.5 points, enough for approximately 6th Place at the moment. Cohen & Padilla have 2.0/4.0 for the day, Ricky Gonzalez has 1.5, and Sascha Kappos has 1.0.
Starkman had an undefeated day at 3.5/4.0 in the K-3 Open section. That should put him in the top 3 going into round 5. Srebnick has 2.5/4.0.
Sbroggio is playing well in the K-3 U/500 with 3.0/4.0.
Lots of potential for great things tomorrow in rounds 5 & 6. Stay tuned to @SpartanChess on twitter for more frequent updates. Katz & Ser are playing the Bughouse side event this evening.
